There's a river that was first bridged 800 years ago, a harbour that for centuries was the most important on th west coast of Scotland.

BABBACOMBE

Babbacornbe is close enough to Torquay to enjoy it, but far away enough to appreciate it. Torbay offers some of the best beaches in England, there are 10 beaches within the bay area and everyone of them has safe swimming. A little further away is the bustle of Torquay with its theatre and many beaches. The fascinating model village and the historical bygones museum are nearby. There are wonderful views of Lyme Bay from Babbacombe Downs nearby. A great day out can be had enjoying one of the many nearby coastal walks.

BARMOUTH

The seaside town of Barmouth is one of the most scenic coastal resorts on the west coast of Wales.
The area is famous for its beauty and sandy beaches, surrounded by the many miles of the Snowdonia National Park. An unusual blend of sea, sand and mountains.

BIDEFORD

Bideford is a port with white houses along a treelined quay. In the 16th century Bideford was Britain's third largest port. Today, the narrow town centre streets leads down to the treelined quay which bustles with fishing vessels, cargo and pleasure boats.
The impressive 24 arch stone bridge built in 1535 leads to a coastal path cycleway and to the disused railway line, which is part of the Tarka Trail. The town itself has a thriving shopping centre, friendly cafes and pubs..

BLACKPOOL

Blackpool famous around the world for its illuminations, 40 acre Pleasure Beach and Tower, Blackpool also has three piers and is the only town in Britain where traditional trams are still in public service.

BOURNEMOUTH

Adjacent to each other overlooking the sea on east cliff Bournemouth Situated in a prime position overlooking the sea on the east cliff in Bournemouth with panoramic views, The Cliffeside/Southcliffe Hotels - the hotels are next door to each other and are owned by the same group of hoteliers, use of the facilities in either hotel is available throughout your stay.

CASTLE ISLAND AND WATERFORD

Itinary

Day 1 Taxi conveys you from your door to meet the coach and we travel to Pembroke in South Wales where we board our ferry - 3'12 hour sailing to Waterford. Arriving at the Dooley's Hotel on the riverside.

Day 2 After breakfast we visit Waterford Crystal, then on to Castle Island, arriving early afternoon. Our hotel The River Island -  that is located right in the centre of Castle Island.

Day 3 After breakfast our local guide joins us for the full 110 mile trip around the spectacular ring of Kerry, highlight of the holiday. We will pass through Killorgan, Cashirseevin, Waterville (where Charlie Chaplin stayed see the statue to him on the waterfront) followed by a photostop at the breathtaking ladies view overlooking the three lakes of Killarney.

Day 4 After breakfast, our local guide joins us once again for the trip to Dingle Bay, where we may see Sammy the dolphin. Then its out to Sliegh Head Pass, the most westerly point in Ireland, a one and a half circular drive through beautiful scenery.

CLACTON ON SEA

Clacton-on-Sea is a typical Essex seaside town, boasting the country's largest pier. It buzzes with holidaymakers in summer, drawn by miles of sandy beaches, a reputation for being one of the hottest and driest parts of the country, and lots of places for visitors to see, much of it low cost..

Donegal is your base for this superb tour of County Donegal and Northern Ireland.

Itinary

Day 1 Taxi collects you from your door taking you to meet the coach and we travel from Holyhead for the early afternoon conventional ferry crossing to Dublin, make the short journey north of the city for our overnight accommodation at the Regency Hotel.

Day 2 This morning leave Dublin and travel north via Cavan to admire the great lakes which dominate the Co. Fermagh landscape, scattered with islands and adorned with breathtaking forest parks. Take a break for lunch at Enniskillen, home of the Royal Fusiliers. Travel along the shores of Lough Erne, where nestling on the banks of the Lough is Belleek, home of Ireland's oldest pottery where You can observe how this legendary basket weave china is handcrafted. Arrive at the Central Hotel in the very heart of Donegal, Your base for the next three nights.

EXMOUTH

Exmouth developed as a resort in the Georgian times and was probably the most select seaside resort in Britain, being home to such famous people as lady Nelson and lord Byron. Nowadays it offers a rich mixture of immaculate sands, lovely gardens, a busy harbour and an excellent resort for all ages and interests.
To the south the resort overlooks lyme Bay, while to the west it looks across the estuary of the River Exe to the Haldon Hills and Dawlish Warren. There are boat trips aplenty.

FOLKESTONE

This Edwardian town has a pedestrianised shopping area which leads down to the lanterns, an area of period architecture and fine speciality shops and cafes. The cobbled old High Street leads down to the busy working harbour where it doesn't take much to imagine the sights and sounds of time gone by. There are many interesting little distractions down these winding streets, especially the old curiosity shops. If you are looking for more of a continental flavour you will find it in nearby Sandgate Road where the French markets pitches up once a month.During the summer months this mile long area is awash with breathtaking flower arrangements where the colours are so vibrant you could only be in Kent's garden coast.

GREAT YARMOUTH

A beautiful promenade in a traditional seaside resort. With ample seats, is ideal to relax and watch the world go by.
Great Yarmouth, East Anglia's most popular holiday resort, boasts some of the best entertainment and recreational facilities on the Norfolk coast, together with the Britannia and Wellington Piers, Marine Parade lined with beautiful gardens, miles of golden sands as far as the eye can see, and an excellent shopping centre means there is something for everyone.

ISLE OF WIGHT

Newtonmore is 'Monarch of the Glen' countrv The countryside surrounding the hotel was used in some scenes. Newtonmore is a quaint village.

OSTENDE

We sail to France mid afternoon and on leaving Calais.
We travel up the coast to Ostende to our hotel, we stay at the Admiral Hotel in the very heart of town close to the beaches and only one minute walk to the harbour.
Ostende has a beautiful level seafront promenade, sandy beaches and plenty of seating to sit and watch the world go by. There are many shops and bars in the pedestrian precinct. The resort is split by arocky headland into two beach sections, north and south, the harbour is in the north.

TORQUAY

Torquay one of Britain's most famous resorts, it is situated in the heart of 22 miles of unspoilt coast line, known as the English Riviera, it has a mild climate, sparkling blue waters and sub-tropical plants and palm trees are to be found in its beautiful public gardens. The many local attractions include Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, Kent's Cavern, Torbay Steam Railway and Cocklington Thatched Village.

WESTON SUPER MARE

Weston Super Mare the well known and most popular holiday town, which nestles in a sheltered bay at the foot of the Mendip Hills, has much to see and do. The spacious flat promenade has plenty of seats for a well earned rest after a walk.

WEYMOUTH
